I have worked in the care field with children and older adults since 2005, have a degree in Health and Social Care .Over the years, I have noticed that while much of the training is very good, some care companies only offer a week of training for new and experienced caregivers.
I understand that market demands may limit the time available for training, but it is essential to prepare caregivers for the challenges they may face in their roles. This course aims to provide insights into the situations caregivers may encounter in their placements, how these situations may impact them emotionally, and how to effectively respond to them.
